Job Description
Best Home Health Care is urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care for a patient in Palatka, FL. This role focuses primarily on wound care management, including wound vac (negative pressure wound therapy).
This is a great opportunity for a compassionate nurse who is confident in independent home care settings and skilled in advanced wound treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform and manage wound vac (NPWT) treatments
- Conduct routine wound assessments and dressing changes
- Monitor for signs of infection or complications
- Accurately document patient condition and care provided
- Communicate effectively with physician and care team
- Ensure compliance with all home health care standards and protocols
Schedule
- 2 days per week (flexible scheduling options available)
- Consistent, ongoing case
Requirements
- Active Florida LPN license
- Experience with wound vac / wound care required
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
